4. Advertising: Google AdSense (website) and Google AdMob (app)
We show third-party advertisements to support free tools and educational content. Advertising is provided by Google.
4.1 Website — Google AdSense
Our website uses Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-4286764750266245)
to display ads. AdSense and its partners may use cookies, device information, IP address,
browser data and browsing activity on our site and other sites to show ads, including personalised ads
where allowed by law and your settings.
4.2 Android app — Google AdMob
The Sarvoday Computer Android app uses Google AdMob to display ads (banner, interstitial and/or other Google ad formats). AdMob and Google advertising partners may collect and process:
- Google Advertising ID and other advertising identifiers
- IP address and device/network information
- App activity related to ads (impressions, clicks)
- Approximate location (from IP)
- Diagnostics used to serve and measure ads
This data is processed by Google as described in Google’s own policies. We do not send your Aadhaar, passwords, fee records, attendance records or student photos to AdMob for ad targeting.
4.3 How to control ads
- Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
- How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation (wording may vary by device)
- NPA / non-personalised ads may still be shown; they are based on context (for example, the page or app), not your advertising profile
Opting out of personalised ads does not remove all ads. You will still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
6. Android app permissions
- Internet / network: to load courses, login, tools and ads.
- Camera: to scan QR codes for attendance and ID verification. Optional; used only when you open the scanner.
- Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. You can reset or opt out in Android Ads settings.
We do not request contacts, SMS, microphone, precise GPS or call-log permission for these services.
7. Third-party services
We use these third parties. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google AdSense — website advertising — Google Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob — in-app advertising — Google Privacy Policy and AdMob & privacy
- Google Analytics — website traffic measurement (property G-L0M6CGFDG3)
- Google Sign-In — optional login with your Google account
- Hosting / email / WhatsApp — to run the website and communicate with you
Ads, analytics and Google Sign-In may transfer data to Google servers (including outside India) as described in Google’s policy. We do not control Google’s independent processing.
9. Data retention and security
Institute records (admission, attendance, fees, ID) are kept while you are a student/staff member and for a reasonable period afterwards for certificates, accounts and legal compliance. Login sessions on the phone stay until you log out. Advertising identifiers are controlled by Google/Android.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, restricted admin access, passwords). No internet service is 100% secure. Please keep your password private.
10. Children’s privacy
Our website and app are for computer-institute students, parents, staff and job seekers. They are not directed at children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for advertising, and we do not use AdSense/AdMob to target children. If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has provided personal data without consent, email help@sarvodaycomputer.in and we will delete it where required.
Enrolled institute students below 18 should use the app/website with parent/guardian knowledge. Parents may contact us to review, correct or delete a student’s record.
11. Your rights and account deletion
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal and institute record-keeping needs.
